Figs
or anjeer are a rich source of iron, calcium and copper.
They also contain zinc; vitamin A and c, Vitamin b complex
and Vitamin D. Figs are good cure for anaemia, hyperacidity,
ulcers and worm infections.
Figs are highly nutritive and help build body resistance.
- Boil the bark of fig in water along with neem,
mango and peepal barks. This decoction washed and
soothes ulcers caused by burns.
- The burnt ash of the fig fruit counters hyperacidity.
Take one tsp of the powder before meals.
- Boil figs in water to make a decoction. Take an
ounce of this decoction twice a day to cure urinary
disorders and small stones.
