These programs offer a commission incentive that will allow you to earn residual income for months and years to come. The optimal way to benefit from these programs is to sign up for more than just a few but not too many.

Joining too few affiliate programs will hurt your home based business in more than one way:

First of all, you want to give your home based business multiple streams of income. Limiting it to just one or even two will not get you by today at all. What you need to do is find a happy medium. Promote a number of affiliate programs to diversify your money but not too many where you will lose focus of your customers. Usually five or six will do the trick. This will allow you to fall back on other residual income programs if one fails and your customers will also have a good number to choose from. This number will also allow you to focus better and your website will not look too busy.
