Year-Ahead Outlook For year commencing Jan 2008

Overview
An exceptionally hard working year with heavier responsibilities will keep you fairly nose to the grindstone but your efforts will gain you respect with those who really matter. The good news is that your personal finances will blossom with an easier cash flow, though it'll go in both directions since you'll be spending happily. However this is no time to be frivolous so you'll push yourself to stay in control. Managing your time better and staying on top of detail will be vital for a few months in a helter skelter time when muddles are likely. Home will continue to be restless with constant changes but you're heading in the right direction. After mid year you'll aim high, try to fit in more travel and be broadening your horizons every which way.

Romance
Knowing what you want will be half the battle. Freedom will be high on your wish list but you don't want to be standing alone, so it's a question of negotiating tactfully with those close for more personal space without rocking the boat too hard. Your recent experiences have left you wiser so you should manage not to be too impulsive or hot headed. Extra duties won't leave as much time for social high jinks, but you'll achieve a better balance between work and play from March. April will be passionate, indeed tempestuous at times with your charms winning new admirers. June should be a togetherness time but upheavals at home and too much work will prove a distraction. From mid August for a few weeks you'll be delighted at the invitations coming your way and the wide circle of supportive friends who will always be on call.

Money
Two major planets are focussed on your chart area of personal finances. Expansive Jupiter for the whole year will bring luck your way, a faster income flow and plenty of temptations to spend. Pluto is also there for a longer time which finds you in a mood to get a sensible grip of your finances. OK so it may prompt you to spend compulsively at times but you'll be determined to upgrade your situation. There should be openings which will allow you to do this but be slightly wary of getting into power struggles over cash, if you are too rigid or stubborn. Lighten your approach without being careless and you've got much to gain. Happily sensible Saturn at your mid heaven will provide a balancing factor so you won't go far wrong. Just watch at the year end that you're not being too bull headed. Protect yourself by all means but do it subtly.

Work
There's no doubt that you're now in a position to show what you can really do, though it will require that you be more practical, serious and steady than sits very happily with your adventurous temperament. If you stick to the straight and narrow and don't go for quick fixes or cut corners then you'll do well. Meticulous attention to detail and a strong streak of conscientiousness is all you need to bring in the achievements slowly but surely. An exceptionally busy first six months will give way to an ambitious, hard working second half. So there won't be much let up but at least you'll feel you are on the right track. If there are setbacks you need to tackle them with determination and self discipline. Mistakes will come back to haunt you but that's Saturn's way. Just sort them out and move on.

Health
With a tough minded combination of Saturn and Pluto in your earth houses it will be a stretching, strenuous year so you'll need to do all you can to stay on top form. As a fire sign you often ignore your body's needs but now you need to be aware of what you eat, how much relaxation you get and what kind of exercise will revitalise you. Late April to the end of May is your time to be sensible and take the necessary steps. By late October you'll realise that taking time out will help you move faster later, so you'll take the hint and give yourself down time.
