Year-Ahead Outlook For year commencing Jan 2008

Overview
This is the year your blinkers will come off and you'll find that what has been holding you back hasn't been bad luck, more too narrow an attitude on your part. You'll open your eyes to new possibilities, amaze yourself with new found tolerance and be communicating enthusiastically to favourable responses. OK so you'll need to put effort into team relationships and friends may be fewer in number than usual, but the ones around will be loyal. Your words will carry weight in the right quarters if you lighten up and aim for gentle persuasion. Family and domestic matters will occupy you through the early part of the year with the hint that taking the initiative will pay off, so put changes in place. In the latter part of the year you'll be aiming high and making your mark at work.

Romance
Finding happiness and fulfilment at home with those close will be your main aim and priority in the first few months. There may be muddles or misunderstandings to sort out and you'll need to be realistic as well as tactful in teasing out what exactly is preoccupying loved ones. Older more sensible friends will give you helpful hints and keep you on the right lines. Your social life will be exciting and adventurous at times and rather switched off at others. Certain of those close will be wayward, rebellious or acting erratically. Try to see this as a challenge which will stretch you in positive ways if you allow it, rather than getting aggravated. Harmony will reign late February and into March you'll be flirting and having fun, feeling popular. Close partners will be on your side offering love and affection from April through May.

Money
The year may start on a sticky note with a general impasse in one cash matter. But in general money should be less of a tense issue from March to June and at the end of the year since you'll have sorted out most problem areas by then. You won't feel as tempted to control all aspects of your finances in those times which oddly enough will help to keep the bounty of the universe flowing in your direction. Since you're being sensible about the long term you'll be less inclined to throw any surplus around. If you listen to advice mid year and don't jump impulsively to off the cuff decisions you'll do well. A few loose ends will remain to be settled after June for a few months but nothing you can't handle. September will present the final hurdles and then you'll be on your way more constructively. Late November onwards will find cash flowing through due in part to your steely determination.

Work
Less of a draining, overly hard working year than last, you'll find you've got help and support. Team relationships won't always be easy so it will be a learning curve as you fit in and compromise. But with Jupiter in Capricorn your approach will be positive, tolerant and morale boosting which will help. By March you'll be talking over confident plans and working out the details. Though it may not be until after mid year that you really get cracking to put them into practice. At that point you'll have a feeling that it's now or never for success. It won't be but the added motivation will do you no harm. So gear up your courage and ensure that significant people know what you are capable of achieving. In the months following you'll continue to maintain a higher profile. Just watch a tendency at times especially late in the year to be too dogmatic or self righteous in discussions.

Health
On the whole you should feel less drained than last year with more helping hands around. There's no doubt that a positive attitude also helps to boost the body's energy and fight against any wandering ailments. Luckily Jupiter will help to keep your morale high so that shouldn't be a problem. Though you'll need to watch in March and December not to let a pressured schedule get on top of you. There are times when you need to stand back and say too much is too much. Save your energy by taking the line of least resistance which means not pushing against immoveable objects, whether people or situations.
