Trifala
is rich in iron, manganese, calcium and Vitamin A. it
is excellent for the eyes and is very good for the digestive
system. Trifla purifies the blood, increases the haemoglobin
level in the blood and increases body resistance.
It is good for the hair and makes it shiny and healthy.
Bitter in taste, the regular intake of trifla, improves
overall resistance.
- Trifla can be steamed in a pressure cooker. Add
fried onions, garlic, chillies and masala to taste.
Serves as a good vegetable to go along with other
gravies, chapattis and rice.
- Soak about 10-12 pods of trifla overnight in a bowl
of water. Use this water to clean hair. While it may
not give lather, this preparation cleans the hair
right from the roots. It also adds strength, bounce
and shine to the hair.
- Soak about 10-12 pods of trifla in a bowl of water
and leave overnight. Splash this water on the eyes.
Regular routine cures weak eyes and improves memory.
It is a regimen which is highly beneficial for students.
- Trifla is bitter in taste but is highly recommended
for its medicinal properties.
